Joe Putter is here for YOU!!

Hi, fellow golfers, Joe Putter here. Hope you are all playing great golf! I began playing golf over 50 years ago in 1952. I know how tough a game golf can be. When you have responsibilities like we all do, such as jobs, bills, children, etc., we don’t have a lot of time to spend practicing golf. Too many golf instructors teach golf as seriously as if it is quadruple bypass surgery. Golf is a game, a great game, but we should have fun. So you will find my instruction fun and valuable. You will improve and have fun.

My instruction is based on simple routines that will make it easy for you to improve with a minimal amount of practice. I’m sure you’re asking, what do you know, Joe? I started in golf when I was nine (an old set of wooden shafted clubs) and then -

  • Built 9 miniature golf courses, 5 golf ranges, four 18 hole regulation courses.
  • Operated a golf range and hit zillions of balls.
  • Taught golf since 1960.
  • PGA member 12 years.
  • Head Professional 4 years, teaching professional 14 years.
  • I have given at least 12,000 lessons.
  • Made it to the Senior finals in 1994.

I have had personal instruction from the following: Mac O’Grady, Jim Flick, Harvey Penick, Paul Runyan, Angel de La Torre, Johnny Revolta, Mike Labauve, Gardner Dickinson, Jerry Belt, Kevin Paulson. One week school with Jimmy Ballard, 6 lessons at Butch Harmons golf school. Studied NLP. Attended two seminars with Richard Bandler, founder of NLP. Personal session with Chuck Cook. Some of the lessons I have taken lasted a few hours (Gardner, Penick), some of the lessons were years (Runyan, Revolta).

Needless to say, I love golf! I would like to share some of the information I have learned over the years. If you have fun and improve, then I will accomplish what I want.

Your Fellow Golfer,
Joe Putter
